Welcome to
Mini Camp at PDC!
Designed with our youngest campers in mind, our popular Mini Camp 2026 is open for fun for three weeks: June 8 - June 26.
Preschool children, ages 3 and 4, and kindergarten-age kids are welcome to start their summer experience at a comfortable pace in a safe, nurturing environment. With age-appropriate activities and routines, campers develop social skills, confidence, and independence. Open to campers enrolled in the regular Purchase Day Camp season as well as those who have other summer plans (but why would you?!). Come start your PDC summer at Mini Camp!

We will be closed on Friday, June 19th in observation of Juneteenth.
All campers must be 3 years old by December 31st, 2026, and fully toilet trained.

All the Campy Details
Mini Camp groups are co-ed, and campers are placed based on age. One group includes 3- and 4-year-olds, while the other has children eligible for kindergarten. This setup allows our team to adjust and tailor activities to suit our campers at their specific stage — whether it's more hands-on versus hands-off, more complex and longer, or simpler and shorter.
With a 1:5 counselor-to-camper ratio, our team mainly consists of experienced preschool teachers who understand exactly what little campers need to learn, grow, and thrive. Our staff lead campers through hands-on activities that are safe, engaging, and perfectly suited for young summer adventurers.
June Mini Camp days are the perfect blend of fun, safety, and memorable moments for the start of your camper's summer experience!

Pool Time!
Campers enjoy our Wading Pool, 18 inches max at it's deepest point under the umbrella waterfall. Lifeguards are on duty and staff are never more than an arems length away!
No need for towels with included towel service!
No instruction swim during Mini Camp, only free play.
Munch Munch
Lunch & Snack
We provide snack, you provide lunch! Pack a cold lunch in a labelled container. All lunches are refrigerated. We do not reheat food or provide condiments.
We are not a nut free facility. Complimentary pizza is provided every Friday!
Fun in Action:
Every week sees a new theme come to Mini Camp! Campers are invited to participate in a dress up day, and this theme is incorporated into our daily enrichments. These themes help our campers use their imagination and build creativity while giving an overall structure to activities, all while creating lasting memories that make the Mini Camp experience feel magical.
