"Working at camp taught me so much about being a part of a team and how to work with others towards a mutual goal (the camper's best interest,) organization, creativity, and an insight into child development which became the foundation for my career in education. Above all, working at PDC gave me an incredible work ethic and taught me how to pursue my passions with perseverance and integrity. Purchase gave me lifelong friendships and an invaluable support system of friends and mentors! Forever grateful for my summers at camp." - Jennifer Delancey Agro
"There are countless skills I learned from my time at PDC. The ones I apply on a daily basis would be interacting and managing different personalities, problem solving and time management. I work in the fashion industry, which changes by the NY minute. My position requires me to prioritize projects, identify issues immediately and pivot when necessary. I interact with the marketing, sourcing (overseas), production and merchandising departments regularly as each segment is crucial in my sales success. I am forever grateful for my time at PDC and the learning experiences that have helped mold me into a successful business woman." - Jen Acuti, Wholesale Sales Manager, North America

"I learned so much working at Purchase Day Camp. It was my first real job. I learned patience teaching the most reluctant swimmers in the pool. I learned to take pride in every task because everyone wanted to work hard and make the summer experience special. I learned how to work as a team, and I learned that work could be fun. I also made life-long friends. My own parents met at Purchase day camp. It will always have a special place in my heart as it had a huge impact on my life. Thank you PDC!" - Kerry Crosby (Schweiger)
